India win by a massive margin of 86 runs and take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 3-match in India vs Bangladesh T20 series. Earlier in the evening, India lost their top three batters within the powerplay, however Nitish Reddy and RInku Singh had a fantastic Partnership for the fourth wicket as the young batters stitched a 108-run stand. They smashed the Bangladeshi bowlers throughout their partnership and notched up their respective fifties before both of them departed.

Shanto, Bangladesh Captain: – In our recent match, we repeated some of the same mistakes we made in the first game, which isn’t ideal for team performance. It’s crucial that we improve moving forward. Choosing to bowl first was a sound decision, but after the first 6-7 overs, their batting performance improved significantly, and we failed to execute our strategies effectively.

As batsmen, we need to take responsibility and have confidence in our abilities. While our bowlers performed impressively, we struggled to take wickets during the middle overs, which is something we need to address. Overall, it’s essential for the team to learn from these experiences and enhance our game.

Surya Kumar Yadav, India Captain: – I envisioned that situation for my middle-order batters (5, 6, and 7) and was pleased with how Rinku and Nitish performed. They batted exactly as I hoped, showcasing the importance of expressing themselves on the field. The only change was the jersey; everything else remained the same.

I wanted to explore how different bowlers handle various situations, especially during tough overs. Sometimes Hardik and Washington might not bowl, so it was essential to see what our other bowlers could contribute. I’m really happy with their performance. It was Nitish’s day, and I wanted him to enjoy it and make the most of the opportunity.
